Kay Hutchison has been elevated to the position of Vice President – Business Consulting by Acuity Insurance.
She will be in charge of the business systems and staff functions areas, which are concerned with staffing metrics and productivity, auditing, best practices and line support, workflow and system design, training, and corporate strategic planning.
Kay had previously held the position of General Manager-Business Systems at Acuity.
As general manager and strategy lead, she promoted the agile transformation of Acuity and expanded the impact of Business Systems to meet shifting organizational demands.
She also elevated Acuity’s strategic planning and participated in numerous strategic initiatives.
Kay started out as a business analyst for Acuity in 1994. In 1998, she was made a senior business analyst, and in 2003, she became a business consultant.
Before becoming General Manager-Business Systems in 2013, she was given the title Manager-Business Systems in 2004.
