The 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend is set to tip off on Friday, Feb. 17 in Salt Lake City, Utah with the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
The rosters and coaches for the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game have been announced and the list features actors, comedians, Grammy Award-winning musicians, athletes and more.
All the action kicks off at the Jon M. Huntsman Center with Utah Jazz team governor Ryan Smith and three-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade serving as honorary captains.
Two-time NBA MVP and 2023 NBA All-Star Game captain Giannis Antetokounmpo and three-time Olympic Medalist Lindsey Vonn will coach for Team Dwyane. Hall of Famer and two-time WNBA Champion Lisa Leslie, rapper Fat Joe and Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman will coach for Team Ryan.
To spice things up this year, each team captain will have the ability to activate “Ruffles Crunch Time,” which starts a two-minute period in which points scored are doubled.
Additionally, the Celebrity Game’s “Unlock a Legend” feature will return in 2023, giving each team the ability to add an NBA legend to their roster mid-game.
Throughout the game, NBA All-Star Celebrity Game participants will compete in gameplay activations, including shooting from the “Ruffles 4-Point Ridge Line” to raise money to benefit the 5 For The Fight Cancer Research Internship.
