This is “Small Bites,” a South Florida Sun Sentinel feature with tiny tidbits on the food and beverage scene — because we know that sometimes you just don’t have room for a long article, you want a little news brief instead, an amuse bouche of information, if you will. Enjoy!
For the first time since the pandemic, the Ann Storck Center will once again stage its Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction.
The 27th edition of the fundraiser has scheduled — so far — 18 South Florida restaurants, breweries and bakeries to participate. Plus, there will be live entertainment and both live and silent auctions.
Through the years, the Celebrity Chefs event has raised nearly $5.5 million for the Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit, which helps children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 31.
The event takes place in the Terrace Ballroom at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, 1 Seminole Way.
