Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel didn't want any guests going hungry during the famously long ceremony last night. Knowing that meals aren't served at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre, Kimmel was kind enough to put a snack box under everyone's seat in case they got the munchies.
Various photos of the snack box and its contents surfaced online during the show. Ramin Setoodeh, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Variety, showed off his treats on Twitter.
"For the first time since I’ve attended the Oscars, there’s a box of snacks under every seat with a bottle of water, Hot Tamales, a pretzel and a note from Jimmy Kimmel. 'Eat this. You’re hungry,'" Setoodeh tweeted.

According to PopSugar, Oscars attendees received either Hot Tamales or Sour Patch Kids in their snack box, plus a soft pretzel. We can only imagine the perfect sweet and savory combo of the candies with the artisanal Philly-style pretzel from Shappy Pretzel Co. The box also included an aluminum bottle of water to wash everything down.
And if you're hungry for a Shappy pretzel of your own, you'll soon be able to purchase pretzels from the Los Angeles-based company via Goldbelly. A launch date has yet to be revealed, but the company, which is owned by actor Adam Shapiro, will sell 8-, 12-, and 24-packs on Goldbelly (mustard included).
The final item included in the snack box was a donation made in Kimmel's name to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, an organization that has provided more than one billion meals since 1973.
