CANNELTON — Cannelton High School brought back their celebrity dinner fundraiser in person this past weekend after taking time away from it due to COVID-19.
Sharla Adams said that last year they hosted it over a zoom meeting and it just wasn’t the same. Adams was thrilled to have it back in person. She stated that the students worked hard to make sure that it was a success.
The celebrity dinner features locals who dress up as a celebrity and have invited guest sit at their themed table. The money raised helps provide formal wear for Cannelton students to wear to the prom.
